Also known as Care Plans, these are a highly beneficial range of services that can be made available to eligible patients with complex and chronic medical conditions. Under the Medicare program, eligible patients are able to access up to five allied health services a year to help themselves get better sooner.
These plans help your GP coordinate the services better for you. If eligible, you can access allied services like Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Podiatrist or Dietitian, among others, to bring down the costs of your treatment.
At Ringwood Family Medical Centre, your Plan is created and designed with your specific needs in mind and hence remains unique to you. This service is funded for you by Medicare so there are no GP Gap fees.
