Ramneet Shergill provides physiotherapist services at Ringwood Family Medical Centre. Physiotherapy uses physical methods, including exercise, massage and manipulation to treat injuries and other targeted diseases. Often Physiotherapists are misunderstood to only work with sports related injuries, however this is not the case. Physiotherapists are qualified professionals who also treat physical issues from injuries, diseases, illnesses and ageing.
Ramneet is a Physiotherapist with over 16 years experience. She has completed extra studies in Women’s Health and can fluently speak English, Punjabi and Hindi. Her qualifications include:
Ramneet has an extensive experience and expertise in working with musculoskeletal, women’s health, and the elderly population, with special interests in neck and shoulder pain, headaches, as well as TMJ (jaw) pain . Her experience also allows for the effective treatment of back pain and pelvic girdle pain.
Ramneet is trained to utilise dry needling, manual therapy, soft-tissue massage, kinesio-taping as well as exercise prescription to help achieve her patient’s goals, and is also a certified GLA:D and DMA Clinical Pilates Practitioner.
Outside of work, Ramneet loves spending time with her family and two-year-old son. She enjoys going on bike rides and exploring nature, loves cooking, music and dancing.
