Drug & Alcohol Testing
Standards-compliant workplace D&A testing
Workplace drug and alcohol testing programs are most effective when they are standards-compliant, well documented and consistently applied. Ringwood Family Medical Centre provides drug and alcohol testing to:
- AS/NZS 4308 for urine drug screening
- AS 3547 for breath alcohol testing
Testing is suitable for pre-employment screening, reasonable cause and post-incident testing, random testing programs, and ongoing compliance testing for safety-sensitive roles.
Testing options
- Pre-employment screening — conducted alongside the medical assessment
- Reasonable cause and post-incident testing — priority appointments available
- Random testing programs — scheduled across your workforce
- On-site workplace programs — testing conducted at your premises for larger teams
- Confirmatory laboratory testing — for non-negative screens, performed by accredited pathology
All testing follows chain-of-custody procedures and results are reported confidentially to the employer contact you nominate.
Setting up a program
A well-designed D&A program starts with clear policy and training, then layers the right mix of testing types for your industry and risk profile. Contact Ringwood Family Medical Centre to discuss what your workplace needs — we can help scope the program, supply the testing, and support your HR or safety team with the documentation.
